  1. Lauren,

Your art is amazing! Miss seeing you! Maybe I’ll come back to work one day…

  2. Oh my goodness – this is an amazing portrait! Thank you for sharing it – I can’t wait to see what the rest of the month has in store! 😀

  3. I’ve always been fascinated with comedians/clowns who bring so much happy energy to the masses and yet seem to have deep melancholic tendencies. I like how you drew his eyes – a bit manic, sad, and tired all at once. Or am I just imagining things? 😉

    • Mel! You’re racking up on these free prints my friend! You just won yourself another one ha! Thank you so much, I like how you brought out his eyes, I thought the same thing. So you’re not just imagining things 😉 very good observation!

      • Haha…efficient postage in that case! 😉 Thank you, I’m very stoked and can’t wait to receive your beautiful drawings. I will ensure I’m not the 3rd commenter for subsequent posts so other people get the chance to receive your art heh!

  4. You seemed to have captured a bit of his inner sadness. It is an excellent rendering of him and I like that you used his refrain from his song, Smile, that was featured in Limelight.

    • You’re a dozen shades of awesome, and I’m so happy you’re hooked cause I’m hooked on your whole writing thang. Thank you for the video too. Love it!

  5. You captured a lot of feeling in his sad wide eyes and rueful almost-smile. I’m glad you enjoyed yourself while you were drawing him; your enthusiasm certainly translates into the finished portrait. Can’t wait for D!

  6. You captured the true essence of Chaplin. Another piece of amazing art.
Happy A to Z, and thank you for joining my small community. 🙂
